03 Ugandans selected for Aspen Institute New Voices Fellowship

Three Ugandans have been selected for the Aspen Institute New Voices Fellowship Class of 2018.
Nominated by Nigerian LGBTI activist Bisi AlimiClare Byarugba who serves as the Equality and Non-discrimination Coordinator at Chapter Four Uganda is among those selected for the Fellowship Class of 2018.

“Its an honour to have been selected for the Aspen New Voices fellowship Class of 2018, a program for expert voices from developing countries. Bisi Alimi whom I met in 2014 during World Bank consultation meetings in DC, saw some value and potential in me and my work, so he nominated me. And because he is sassy..- he encouraged me to apply because, in his view, the program would be ‘lucky’ to have me…. I guess a TED talk is imminent at this point.” She posted on Facebook page.
